Nothing was too mucheap trouble and our group of four hit it off so well, the icing on the cake was that I was rewarded with three excellent fish.I would highly recommend you try it girl's, not just for men. One of the best experiences I have ever had and if I return to Gran Canaria it will be the first trip I book !

Comments:	I'd always wanted to fish Chira - it's one of the venues with real history and of course those fish are a bit special!! I knew Dave and Ali would be the right people to go with and they really helped to make it a memorable trip. It was seriously hot in the August sun but the fish still fed and we caught plenty of those scaly mirrors that the lake is so famous for. Dave knows the waters out there better than anyone and I knew I'd be in for a good time ..... and that's how turned out - a great time and plenty of fish!!!! cheers Dave and Ali :-)

Comments:	What a honeymoon!, Just the two of us in a very tranquil place, piece and quiet, beautiful mountains and a lake which is a lot bigger then I first thought it would be. My wife learnt fast how to net the 25 carp I caught to 32lb over our 4 day stay... although sun bathing and a good book was more what she had in mind. Nights spent on the apartment veranda drinking and chilling together was just perfect although a bit of romance was in order later that week so we booked into a five star hotel for the remainder of our stay in a Gran Canaria... after all she had agreed to go carp fishing on our honeymoon. Dave and Ali were fantastic right from the initial booking right the way through to ensuring everything was in place on the bank to just to turn up & fish, we had a relaxed enjoyable stay so much so we shall be back next year hoping to beat my 32lb carp :-)

Scottish Paul had the biggest of the day at 27 lb 8 oz I had one at 17 lb 8 oz had a great laugh couldn't go wrong with Dave he is a top angler one of the best I have fished with . As usual June,July fantastic fishing with plenty of fish and many 20s,30s all to day trip clients.Augusts arrival and the fishing went ballistic,fishing with the Nash classic boilie and over the 1st 2 weeks we had over 76 carp.Justin having 31 fish in 4 days,Jamie and his son 16 fish in 3 days,John who writes for the pike magazine- Essox fancied a change,and caught 21 carp in 3 days,all the clients having fish in their mid 30s.Brian our regular client came back for a PB,and had 3 30s,32,33,35 all PBS along with 2 20s all in 7 hours!!Again all on the scopex,amazing,there has been so many different carp caught over the years there must be 1000s and 1000s in Lake Chira,after 25 years of fishing this lake it amazes me and everyone around me!August,September and October were extremely hot with temp to mid 40s really busy months for us here and still catching amazing amounts of carp to all sizes on our day trips to 35lb. We had a few fish out with the biggest at 28 1/2lb I have to say the Carp in here are extremely strong and are some of the prettiest looking fish. Had the fishing trip of a lifetime, 4 nights in amazing surroundings catching carp that put up a fight like nothing I've experienced in my 20 years of fishing,I couldn't tell the 30's from the low doubles till they were landed. I thought my arms were going to fall off, the fish were feeding so hard. I even had to take a night off, i never thought that was possible being such a keen angler. I was catching constantly through the day and night, on a couple of occasions there were runs on both rods the first time I needed a hand off the guy on a day excursion and .Typically i landed the smallest, shame as the other was the first 30 of the trip, he was over the moon though.These amazing four days came to an end with a total of 41 fish, the biggest being a perfect 33lb common. They were all caught on the simple tactics recommended, tigernuts and Daves special particle mix.I ended up using over 60 kilos purchased from Dave at a low price. Both Dave and the other guide Derek were great, at hand with whatever we needed. And anyone with a dubious other half? well mine had an amazing time basking in what she described as "paradise" We are both looking forward to our return trip and would recommend it to anyone.

Comments:	All I can say is WHAT A TRIP! Take my advice, take a right turn and skip France with their overcaught ugly carp, because Lake Chira will simply take your breathe away. The carp here are amazing, hard fighting, mostly uncaught and beautiful huge scales. The runs are absolute screamers i'm not kidding hold onto your rod! Dave and Alison will make your holiday run so smoothly you can relax and can enjoy the fishing and the sun. Come On The Carp!

Comments:	Just got back from a 24 hr trip and had a grate time fishing the day with Dave and Steve. I have never seen carp that looked so good or been able to fish a night on any lake with no one fishing next to me and just sleeping under the stars. I had 4 carp and lost 4 due to the power of the fish that I just couldn't stop. Daves approach to fishing the lake was spot on the way he nose the lake I think it is near impossible for any one not to catch. I would like to thank Dave and Steve and Alison for the best 24hr carp fishing in a long time. PS will be back soon Charlie

Comments:	Just returned from my holiday in Gran Canaria. During one of the days of my holiday, I managed to get away fishing with Dave from Canary Island Carp Fishing tours. When dave picked me up at my hotel at 6am, the temperature was already 36 degrees c and rising by the minute. I managed two stunning carp to low 20's after only 5hrs fishing. The lake is absolutely amazing, and dave and alison's hospitality is second to none. During the 24 hrs session I upped my PB 3 times, first with a 30lb common, then topped it with a real beauty of 35lb mirror. Had a beautiful night under the stars with just a bedchair and sleeping bag, I set my PB again at 36lb mirror. Had a great fishing mate, Steve from the UK and had so much fun together. |~~|20101021070021|~~|October 21, 2010 - 07:00 AM|~~|Dave Beecham|~~|joebeecham@hotmail.com|~~|Gran Canaria|~~|LATEST REPORT SEP/OCT 2010:Septemeber/October,again excellent fishing with allmost all of our clients catching fish.I have changed the hours of the fishing for our day trips from 2pm to 11pm,as we are catching so many more fish in the evening and darkness as the temperatures die down,this will change again at the end of the month,as the clocks go back,the nights draw in,the fish will feed more in the afternoon.During september Tony Davies-Patrick flew to the island for 10 days where we filmed many different lakes for his new dvd which was great fun,and also for future articles in the carp magazines,It was 10days of laughter and Iam glad to say he will be back in January for part 2!
Most of the fish our day trippers have caught are 20s to mid 30s and a few doubles,our biggest this year was the 42.8 by lee,earlier on in the year!I have said this before,this is excellent fishing as we catch on most trips,as ever on the NASH and SOLAR products.
Thanks to NASH for sending over all our new tackle,bait and equipment,its finally arrived!!!

26 hours fishing brought 12 runs with 8 fish banked best fish being a lovely 25lb mirror.
Just fished a pond in East Yorkshire for 72 hours, 13 runs with 10 fish banked best being 12lb.
Guess where I would rather be right now?
Shame I have to wait until January before I can get over to Chira again.

this year I had a 24-hours-trip with Dave from 2nd to 3rd September. What a night ! When the sun went down, the fish came into the bay and the biting began. Another friend from UK (booked an afternoon-trip) caught the first fish with 24 pounds. Afterwards I caught two smaller ones around 20 pounds, but the fish had been biting all the night. Additional I caught four better 20-pounders and the best fish had 30 pounds. Another giant fish was lost, because it swam into an obstacle. Altogether 7 fishes and a new PB – what a happening !!!
The company of Dave is a pleasure – he stood up for every fish in the night and his other service is top. Dave is not only a fantastic guide, just also a really good friend. I´ve been fishing with him for a second time – I´ll stay a regular ! Many greetings from the “Kraut” Bernd from Germany !|~~|~~|

These are mainly Thomas cook and Thomson clients and quite a few of our regulars.July was a good month but August has been outstanding,all fish comming on the NASH gear yet again.
Its nice to see people happy and make their holidays and to help them catch a carp or even their PB!
We have a visitor here at the moment, filming all over the island for his next DVD,Tony Davies-Patrick from http://www.wildcarp.com,a very interesting man,with lots of fishing knowledge and experience,so look out for the forthcoming articles and DVDS!!

The Blue marlin 3 sport fishing boat has just had the largest marlin of the start of the season,which was 450kilos,over a 1000lb in weight!!!Well done to him and the team,we hope this good fishing lasts all summer!

Something different for all you sea fisherman,The Blue Marlin 3 had its 1st marlin of the season,which was at 600lb!Great captain,great boat,also had plenty of tuna and kingfish caught with the live bait on the carp rods!

With a big thirty, some twenties and a couple of high teens thrown in I was well pleased. It was a shame to part company with three big fish that where just too good for me. I am now looking forward to renewing the contest with them in September.|~~|~~|

|~~|20100302200358|~~|March 02, 2010 - 08:03 PM|~~|Dave Beecham|~~|joebeecham@hotmail.com|~~|Gran Canaria|~~|Latest report 28feb10:February has been a great month for our guests,especially after the rain and storms,we have had on the island.I think nearly every lake on the island is 100percent full,apart from Soria,which has a certain depth,which it is kept at 40percent.Just before the storms,Kevin from Kent had a 40lb common from the lake of St.Nicholas,on the Nash gear,he was well pleased,with a new PB!lake Chira has been fishing extremely well,now that the water is up,it has created new hot spots and we have caught lots and lots of carp.The last weekend of Feb,Craig and Rob had 11 fish to 29lb and myself with 4 fish.The week before our guest from Denmark,Jock and Christina had 9 fish with the biggest being a 30lb fully scaled,again I managed a cheeky session and had a 37lb and another 4 fish!The lake has definately woken up with all the new water,and it has made the fishing a whole lot easier,as we can now fish off our private area at our lakeside complex,a beer in one hand ,a rod in another with the BBQ,and 80degrees sunshine,what could be better!Hopefully march will bring another good month,I will let you all know.

I was gutted that we could not get another session in the following week but the storms beat us I tried calling you to thank you for the trip the day before we came home (Friday) and I spoke to Allison as you were picking punters up at airport, and she told me how the lake had risen about 20 feet, I bet the fishing improved after that.

Well done to Ade to his 27lb and a 23 and 28 to Reeka and boyfriend from Finland....

as we expected a very quiet couple of weeks,we had a couple of fish 24.5 and 25lb,My german duo and James from Birmingham had 5 fish upto 25lb,that was a great day out,cant wait to fish the River Rhein,in Germay,thanks Marcus!We had a few days holiday,getting ready for christmas,We have 3 guys now fishing for 2 days,will let you know how we get on!

fishing in his life,but thought he would have a go,the first day he managed a 23 and 25,he enjoyed it that much,he came back a 2nd day and had a 28,29 and a 32!!Fantastic fishing....and he is comming back with the boys in December,for a long weekend,thanks to RyanAir..So I hope to see you soon on your next trip!

What you must remember,is that all these fish are caught on mostly one day sessions,this shows the bait is working and the areas are spot on!!Lets hope it carrys on into the future,but fishing is fishing!!!

|~~|20091118173230|~~|November 18, 2009 - 05:32 PM|~~|val & david|~~|valerie@valeriebrady.demon.co.uk|~~|United Kingdom|~~|We have just returned from Gran Canaria where we spent 2 exhilarating days Carp fishing with "Dave" an enthusiastic, charming, and extremely knowledgable guide.Although experianced in fl fishing we were novices with regards to Carp fishing.We were picked up from our hotel and driven for 1 hour ,deep into the magnificent Canarian mountains. (This was an added bonus to our days). By the side of a beautiful lake, Dave set up our rods, bait & lines were then deposited well out in the lake by means of a remote controlled boat.Since Dave's expertise had placed these just right, it was not long before we had our first bite.We landed a magnificent example of a mirror Carp.Full boddied with a shimmering coat of armour.every scale in perfect order.It weighed 23lb, 3 more were to follow with weights of 15lb, 28lb, & 32lb.On our second day out, we were joined by fishing virgin Mark who's hands shook so much during landing his first fish,we wondered what he was bringing to shore.The excitment generated by us all was electric.We netted 6 Carp that day, with weights of 2@ 24.5lb 1@ 28lb 1@ 29lb 1.19lb.
Both days ended with a return through the cathederal type mountains to our hotel where we certainly needed to rest.Dave is a true master, without him none of this unforgettable trip would have been possible. we will be back in January. And three hours later I have my first carp Gran Canaries in my hands. From £ 28 in total I caught 5 carp. The first, as I said weighed 28 pounds the second weighed 18.50 pounds. The third was the heaviest weighed 32 pounds and the back quarter weighed 28 pounds. And neither one of aftesluiten for £ 22. Greetings from Belgium and we see each other again soon Dave.

At the moment,we are catching between 3 to 8 fish in a short few hours,all the fish are comming between 12 and 4pm,when its warmer through the day,as nights at the moment are down to about 5degrees,and daytime its 75s to 80s!!
