THE ORIGINAL...and still the VERY BEST! We are the original carp fishing holiday company on the island of Gran Canaria and have been operating for over 15-years. We have English speaking guides with over 30 years experience of fishing the many different lakes scattered across this beautiful island. We have an impressive long-standing history of catching carp and hold the Gran Canaria Island Carp Record - a fantastic common carp weighing 55lb 2oz! Dave, your Guide and MD of Carp Gran Canaria Island Fishing Tours, started fishing for Carp on local
lakes in Dartford (Brooklands), Horton, Kirby, Darenth and Sutton in England, 35 years ago.
His carp fishing career has brought him great fish and great friends. Thanks to Dave's passion for carp he has several known friends in the fishing scene like Martin Locke from Solar, who he has fished with for many years and remains friends with and supplies some of our bait. Martin was also the new Carp World Record holder for the biggest carp in 2010 with a fantastic 94lb Mirror carp, and also more recently caught a Record 84lb 8oz common carp! Other famous fishing friends include John McAlisster and Rod Hutchinson. Dave has caught hundreds of fish in England, with his biggest being the famous 40 pounder called two-tone from Chichester on the Vinnetrow complex. After his experiences in England, Dave started to fish abroad in France. On the lake Foret de Orient he caught his largest Carp of 52 lb. At other places in France, like for example Orient and Lac de Der, Dave has caught numerous 30s and 40s. After many years of fishing abroad in different countries, Dave discovered in 1988 the numerous lakes of Gran Canaria, where he started catching many fish. Dave has set the island record of 55lb 2oz common carp and has had numerous over 40lb. In 2002, he started this fishing company, where he has now expanded into the best carp fishing holiday excursion on the island. Many holiday makers with a fishing passion like Dave's, have joined his excursion and broke their personal best!

We can even offer your own tailor-made holiday, for example: 2 nights fishing, 2 nights in a resort and then another 2 nights fishing, just ring or email your request. Please also don't forget to ask about our food packages. We have apartments that can sleep 1 to 5 people, at very competitive prices. We also offer airport pick-ups and include all tackle and bait, for as many days as you like. We can take you on an island tour or even a days shopping trip, especially for those non fishing!
